Integration with Port Tech
In 2010, the maintenance and repair department of FEMONT was transferred to Crane Repair, the daughter company of Port Tech, through a joint venture, together with part of the staff.
In 2014, all activities and resources of FEMONT were integrated into Crane Repair. A large number of the staff, consisting of engineers and technicians, together with the entire technical archive came under the Port Tech umbrella. With this integration the development and production for specific industrial processes under the FEMONT brand name could continue. In 2022 Crane Repair was integrated into its parent company Port Tech, which allowed for new investments required to handle larger scale projects under the FEMONT brand. Port Tech now manufactures FEMONT cranes, accessories and original spare parts and revamps existing FEMONT cranes. |
